50 years ago Chemische Fabrik Berg GmbH was established on "historical" terrain in Lüdenscheid.
Today CFB, initially a manufacturer of barbiturates, has specialized its Lüdenscheid facilities in the production of fine chemicals such as quaternary
ammonium salts, N-S-heterocycles, and various pyrimidines.
